Chairman’s Bulletin – April
Well it looks like the weather has changed in favour of tennis players at last!
Matches start the week of 24th April and hopefully we can enjoy social tennis around these. Phil’s coaching programme also starts this week so looking forward to a busy season.
We are “Going to the Dogs” on 22nd April – this is a social event with the aim to raise money. Tickets are £6 per person (all the family welcome and non-members) available from any committee member. Alternatively – you could donate the cost of a ticket and not come along if this does not interest you.
Don’t forget to enter the Khalique Cup on Monday 1st May. If you haven’t got a partner – we can always find you one.
We will be getting involved with the Village Open Day on 20th May – so come along, watch the juniors playing in the morning, and stop for a cup of tea. You can also see what else Purton has to offer.
The fencing has been completed and is looking good – thanks to our men who did this.
Don’t forget the weekend away in October – 6th/7th/8th – to The Manor in Devon. Anyone interested please see Janet. Open to all the family with plenty to do there including tennis!
As always – don’t forget to check the website for up-to-date news
