A lot of work has been going on at the Tennis Club recently, including erecting new perimeter fencing around our courts next to the cemetery.
This project took a lot of planning, a lot of work, and of course a lot of money.
We would like to thank everyone who either helped or supported this project in any way. Special thanks go to our County Councillor Jacqui Lay for her support, and the Royal Wootton Bassett & Cricklade Area Board, for the generous grant, that enabled us to proceed with the project.
The smart new fencing will benefit our current, and future members for years to come, and hopefully encourage people in the local area to pick up a racquet and give tennis a go. It is a sport that can be enjoyed by anyone, of any age; and we are fortunate to have such lovely surroundings in which to play.
