Message from the Chair

Spring 2020

Dear all

Hope everyone is staying safe and well.

Following the government’s update last night, Sunday 10th May.

I am pleased to say there has been slight movement as to what we as a club are allowed to do.

As of Wednesday 13th May we are now able to use the courts across the road. These are the courts by the cemetery. The club house, toilets and courts 1 and 2 are NOT to be used under any circumstances.

Courts 3 and 4 can only be used by members who are in the same family for single’s or double’s, member’s will also be allowed to play with one friend and play single’s. If you turn up to play and there’s friends playing on the other court you must NOT mix players across courts. Please keep to the 2m distancing rule at all times.

Communal Balls

Once it arrives, I will be placing a secure bin on the courts with new balls in there, along with a bottle of hand sanitizer for your use. Please can I ask that you place these balls back into the bin once you’ve finished playing and make sure the lid is securely fastened.
If you are not comfortable with sharing the club balls, please bring your own, or alternatively use gloves.

Many thanks and enjoy being back on court.
